Christian Louboutin debuted his lipstick/lip-definers line on Sept 1st, 2015, which was highly anticipated by the beauty community, I decided to go with his signature shade Rouge in the matte formula……… I am very pleased……….
Let’s start with the packaging, they left no rock unturned, the lipstick comes with a dust bag, it is the perfect weight, and the design is remarkable, because you can also wear the lipstick as a necklace, your really getting alot of bang for your buck.
I chose the matte Rouge because you can never go wrong with a classic red lip, now that I have been able see more swatches, I will definitely try the satin line!
Now, the knitty-gritty, the lipstick is very creamy, but still matte, with one flick of the wrist the lips are saturated with opaque color, the pigmentation is outstanding with a really nice texture! The only thing I’m not sure about it the longevity, I didn’t wear it very long, but the time I had it on it remained beautiful!
I would recommend these lipstick for the pure luxury of it all, yes, you can find similar colors, but, with this line, it is the perfect splurge! You will not be disappointed!
